Picked up my “premium” rental car today. The lottery was between an Audi A4, BMW 3-series or Jaguar XE. I got the Jaaaaaaag.

Quick review, I haven’t even looked or checked what trim level it is. I think it’s pretty much base level but it does  have the R-Sport steering wheel.

I am slightly underwhelmed. It’s missing features my Hyundai i30N has as standard. Granted, the i30N is kind of a flagship right now, but still. It does look really good and if you put the automatic in S-mode it can accelerate pretty decently in the daily life useful speed range. Sound system also seems pretty good.

Figured it was somewhere like that. Between the fact that it’s a Jag and the speedo isn’t in miles, I assumed it couldn’t be in the US.
